Karmele Jaio is a Spanish writer and journalist. She holds a degree in Information Sciences from the University of the Basque Country and has since worked for various media outlets. As an author, she has published short stories, novels, and poetry, all widely acclaimed by both readers and critics. Since 2015, she has been a member of the Royal Academy of the Basque Language.
