Tragedy strikes when Ubayda, pregnant with Hugo’s child, dies in childbirth, leaving behind their daughter Faíza. Renata, Berenguela’s friend, intervenes at the last moment, stabbing Damián and saving them.

The story culminates in Burgos, with the inauguration of the stained-glass windows at the Cartuja de Miraflores, created by Hugo and admired even by Queen Isabella I of Castile. There, before everyone, Hugo reunites and reconciles with his father, bringing closure to a long journey defined by betrayal, loss, and personal discovery.
