Cristian, Marcela, Bernardo, Silvia, Jorge, Cinthia, and Germán—Cinthia’s recently arrived boyfriend—form a close-knit circle where loyalties are tested and long-buried truths begin to surface.
The story begins with what seems to be an ordinary dinner among friends. Yet beneath the casual conversation, lingering glances, uncomfortable silences, and veiled remarks reveal that something is deeply wrong. Bernardo, charismatic and magnetic, sexually harasses Cinthia, abruptly bringing the evening to an end. It is not the first time. Bernardo has long been the center of multiple incidents of abuse and harassment that have remained unspoken, leaving emotional scars on several of the group’s women. Cristian, Bernardo’s best friend, finds himself trapped between loyalty and truth, desperately trying to hold the group together as the fragile balance begins to collapse.
Then tragedy strikes.
Bernardo is found dead, drowned in his bathtub after a night of excess. The official verdict is accidental death. But Detective Farías is unconvinced. Two wine glasses were found at the scene, proof that someone else had been there that night. Questions begin to circle the group, and suspicion slowly tightens around them: could one of Bernardo’s friends have decided to permanently eliminate a threat they had endured for years?
As secrets multiply, the group attempts to escape the mounting tension by going ahead with a trip to Perito Moreno, a journey they had originally planned together with Bernardo. Yet not even the majesty of the glacier is enough to cool old resentments. Travel mishaps, wrong turns, and unresolved conflicts resurface, particularly those directed at Germán, exposing fractures that had long been hidden beneath the surface of friendship.
Eventually, the truth comes to light.
On the night of Bernardo’s death, Marcela—Cristian’s girlfriend and one of Bernardo’s victims—went to his house to confront him and demand accountability for his actions. Drunk and convinced that she had come seeking intimacy, Bernardo poured her a glass of wine and invited her to join him in the bathtub.
Intoxicated and barely conscious, Bernardo began to drown.
Marcela did nothing.
She watched him slip beneath the water and chose not to save him. As he disappeared beneath the surface, she allowed the water to carry away the power he had exercised over others for so long.
