A desperate wife, determined to fulfill the last wish of her writer husband—diagnosed with terminal cancer—resorts to a risky deception to make his dream of literary success come true.

Fran is a frustrated writer who, after receiving a series of editorial rejections, is confronted with the devastating news of terminal cancer. Desperate to fulfill his last wish, his wife Victoria makes a risky decision: to pay for his novel to be published and aggressively promoted, including mass purchases of copies and the creation of fake reviews. Although the publisher hesitates at first, he ultimately agrees to the plan, and the novel becomes a resounding success.

To finance the deception, Victoria sells their house to an investor under the condition that it will be handed over after Fran’s death or within a fixed deadline. However, Fran’s health improves far more than expected, putting the agreement at risk. While Fran enjoys interviews and newfound recognition, Victoria partners with Munodi, a young man with connections in the literary world who manages the network of fake purchases and glowing reviews. The novel becomes a publishing phenomenon, and Fran—believing his success is genuine—signs with a famous literary agent and begins planning a luxurious trip. Yet while he lives his dream, his relationship with Victoria begins to crumble due to financial strain and growing emotional distance.

When Fran discovers the truth about the fraud, the situation reaches a breaking point. During a heated confrontation, Fran accuses Victoria of manipulation, leading to a painful rupture. Trapped between guilt and the consequences of her actions, Victoria faces a harsh reality: her love for Fran has driven her to commit a deception that has destroyed her life.

The story concludes with Fran’s death, leaving Victoria caught between grief, remorse, and mounting debts she must now confront. As she faces the consequences of her sacrifice, she realizes it is time to free herself emotionally from the past and take control of her future.
