Mario Escobar was born in Madrid. He is a History graduate and master in Advanced Studies, specializing in Modern History. He is a novelist, essayist and lecturer. He is the director of the “Nueva historia para el debate” magazine and collaborates with the publications “Más allá e Historia” and “National Geographic History”.

With thousands of books sold worldwide, he has published novels of diverse genres. It is worth mentioning his thrillers, like The Circle or In the Darkest Place, and his historical fiction novels Auschwitz Lullaby and The Land of Tears.
