Mar del Olmo is a writer, editorial proofreader, and literary coach. Trained as a philologist and interpreter, she developed a professional career of more than two decades in advertising before devoting herself fully to writing and to supporting other authors in their creative projects. Since 2019, she has focused on her literary vocation and has collaborated on numerous successful novel and essay projects, in addition to maintaining a blog where she combines current-affairs articles with short fiction.
Mar del Olmo’s work is characterized by an intelligent use of humor and an honest взгляд on everyday life and the experiences of women over forty, blending entertainment and reflection with a narrative voice that is approachable, lively, and authentic. She has been awarded the International Latin Book Awards for Best Women’s Issues Book and was a finalist in the Audi and Universo de Letras (Planeta Publishing Group) Future Books competition.
