Jonathan Arribas is a Spanish writer. He studied Law and, after several years working in that field, decided to make a professional shift toward writing. He completed a master’s degree in Creative Writing and was a resident at the Fundación Antonio Gala from 2022 to 2023.
With his debut novel, Vallesordo, Arribas offers a tender and vivid portrait of childhood in a small rural village, told through the voice of Nico, an eleven-year-old boy with boundless charisma and imagination. The novel was received as one of the most outstanding works of Spanish narrative fiction in 2025.
