Nerea Pallares Vilar is a Galician writer with a degree in Journalism and a Master’s in Comparative Studies in Literature, Art, and Thought. She has worked as a journalist, copywriter, and communications manager before establishing herself as an author. Her writing is characterized by a poetic взгляд on everyday life, with particular attention to community ties, traditions, and female voices.
She is the author of short story collections and has participated in various literary anthologies. In 2025, she published her first novel, Spider Point, a novel awarded the García Barros Novel Prize (2025). In addition, Pallares has received other recognitions such as the Las Dalias International Short Story Prize (2018) and the Energheia Spain Prize (2022), establishing herself as one of the most interesting emerging voices in contemporary Galician narrative.
