Rubén Sánchez Trigos is a Spanish writer, screenwriter, and university professor. Holding a PhD in Audiovisual Communication, he specializes in the study of fantasy and horror fiction within Spanish culture.
He has developed a distinguished career in the audiovisual field as a screenwriter for short films and cinematic projects, participating in works such as El intruso, nominated for the Premio Goya, and collaborating on the development of films including Verónica (2017).
As an author, his work belongs to the realms of fantasy, horror, and science fiction, genres he approaches through a contemporary lens. He has published several novels and essays and was also a finalist for the Premio Drakul de Novela.
