Asier Olaizola is a Spanish writer, screenwriter, and playwright. He holds a degree in Geography from the Autonomous University of Madrid and has developed a professional career closely linked to the audiovisual and cultural sectors, combining writing with acting and production.
As an actor, he has appeared in television series such as Cable Girls, Velvet Collection, The Invisible Line, and One Less Life in the Canary Islands, as well as participating in film projects and international film and music festivals.
He made his literary debut with the novel An Instant (2023). His work is characterized by a strongly audiovisual style, with narrative structures influenced by cinema and television. He was awarded the First Prize at the Donostia Kultura Pocket Theatre Competition, and his short films have been selected for numerous festivals, including Cannes.
