Agustín Comotto is an Argentine cartoonist and writer known internationally for his illustrations. He was trained at the school of artists Alberto Breccia and Leopoldo Durañona, both legendary figures in the field of illustration.
Comotto began publishing comics for various media in Argentina and the United States, and since the 90’s he has dedicated himself exclusively to the field of illustration as a cartoonist and author.
Alongside his illustration work, he gives lectures for children on the craft of storytelling with images.

His works have been published internationally in many countries such as Mexico, Venezuela, Argentina, Spain, Korea, Italy, Germany and the United States.
He has received awards such as the “A la orilla del viento” Award, granted by the Fondo de Cultura Económica publishing house, and the White Raven of the Munich Library, as well as the Best Illustrated Album Mention from ALIJA.
