Carlos Barea, a writer from Granada, holds a degree in Advertising and Public Relations from Rey Juan Carlos University. He later completed a Master’s in Creative Writing at Escuela Hotel Kafka and a Master’s in LGBTQIA+ Studies at the Complutense University of Madrid.
Deeply committed to the LGBTQIA+ cause, Barea has collaborated with various media outlets, specializing in film and literature criticism with queer themes. He is also the founder of the Liga Artístico-Cultural Anti-Homofobia (LACAH), an association dedicated to queer activism through culture.
