Carlos Catena Cózar is a Spanish poet, fiction writer, and translator. He studied Translation and Interpreting, and his work has become established as one of the most outstanding voices in contemporary young poetry and narrative in Spain.
He has been awarded the Hiperión Poetry Prize, one of the most prestigious in the Spanish language, as well as the Ucopoética Competition (2015) and the Málaga Crea Poetry Prize (2017). His texts, translated into several languages, have appeared in various anthologies. In addition to his poetic work, he has published two novels, including Tan tonta, which received the València Narrative Prize, confirming his versatility.
