Catalina Holguín is a Colombian writer, editor, and academic. She studied English Literature, and her professional career lies at the intersection of literary creation, editorial research, and cultural management. She is the founder and director of Mákina Editorial and the children’s platform MakeMake.

In 2024, she published her first novel, The Memory of Stones, a dystopian story of strong narrative intensity that explores fragility, violence, and resistance in contemporary contexts. Her writing, widely recognized within the Latin American cultural and publishing fields, is characterized by a critical perspective on the social environment.
