Hugo Stuven

Hugo Stuven is a Spanish writer, screenwriter, and film director. Trained in Image and Sound, he began his career as an actor in television series before moving into directing and screenwriting. He has built a notable career in cinema as the director and writer of films such as Anomalous (2016) and Solo (2018), as well as television series and documentaries, establishing himself as a multidisciplinary creative talent.

In addition to filmmaking, he has explored other artistic fields, including music, with the release of the album Loop, expanding his creative expression beyond literature.

Alongside his work in film, he has pursued a literary career, publishing novels such as El faro de las lágrimas perdidas, finalist for the prestigious Premio Minotauro, one of the leading awards in Spanish-language fantasy literature. His narrative work moves within the realms of thriller and psychological suspense.
