Jordi Soler is a Mexican novelist, poet, and journalist of Catalan origin. In addition to his creative work, Soler has developed a distinguished career in cultural journalism, collaborating with media outlets such as El País and Milenio, and has served as cultural attaché at the Mexican Embassy in Ireland.

Throughout his career, he has published more than a dozen novels that have been translated into several languages. His work is characterized by richly atmospheric imagery and an exploration of memory, exile, and identity. He has received international recognition, including the Prix Littéraire des Jeunes Européens and the Prix Jean-Morer in France, the Asicom–University of Oviedo Prize in Spain, and the Carlos Pellicer Prize in Mexico. His writing, praised by critics and peers for its expressive power and narrative strength, has established him as one of the leading literary figures of his generation.
