José Luis Acosta is a screenwriter, director, and producer for film and television. He has been working in the industry for more than 35 years, taking part as a technician, screenwriter, and director in numerous Spanish series and films. His career has also crossed borders, with projects in the Latin American and U.S. markets.
His audiovisual works have received more than 35 national and international awards and have even been nominated for the Goya Awards. Among his most notable projects are Barreiro, No te puedes esconder, Historia de un búho, and Ana y los 7, among others.
