Josep Vicent Miralles is a writer, journalist, and screenwriter, with a degree in Communication Studies. He has developed a multidisciplinary career that spans narrative fiction, cultural journalism, teaching, and screenwriting, and has also collaborated on publishing projects as a member of the Drassana publishing house and of the editorial board of Lletraferit magazine.

His writing is characterized by a blend of social criticism, sharp humor, and analysis of diverse contemporary realities. Throughout his career, he has received several literary awards, including the I Premi de Narrativa Juvenil Ciutat de Benicarló, the Cavall de Laguar Short Story Prize, as well as other honors such as the Pou de la Neu de Xixona, the Laguna de Duero Prize, and the Relats Prize of the Universitat de València.

His novel Estiu was nominated for Best Work at the València Negra festival, consolidating his presence within the genre.
