Luis Maura is a Spanish writer with a degree in English and French Philology and training in acting from the Cuarta Pared Theatre School.
He combines his literary work with teaching, theatre, and collaborations with cultural media. He also writes articles and columns on literature, culture, and LGTBIQ+ activism in publications such as El Asombrario.
His narrative explores identity, memory, and the queer experience in rural settings. Throughout his career, he has received various recognitions, including first prize in the Young Artists Competition of the city of Cáceres (2010) and third prize in the II Pocket Theatre Festival (2018), consolidating a creative career that bridges literature, theatre, and cultural activism.
