Marian Peyró is a Spanish writer whose work focuses primarily on short fiction and contemporary narrative. She began publishing short stories and microfiction in literary magazines and digital media, as well as in various collective anthologies of noir and fantasy genres. With a restrained prose and a sharp view of the chiaroscuro of everyday life, her writing is characterized by the portrayal of ambiguous characters and morally tense atmospheres, positioning itself between contemporary literary fiction and the realm of noir storytelling.

She made her novel debut with The Fires, a work set in the rural environment of her childhood that explores first love and emotional memory. Throughout her career, she has won the Getafe Negro Microfiction Competition (2017) and the 43rd City of Martos Literary Competition (2019), and has also been a finalist for the Max Aub International Short Story Prize and other short fiction awards.
