Mariana Muscarsel Isla is an Argentine writer, psychologist, and artist. She holds a degree in Psychology and specializes in Gender and Sexuality Education. Throughout her career, she has combined writing with music, performance art, and queer activism. Her body of work, which spans novels, poetry, and essays, exists at the intersection of literature, feminist thought, and critical reflection.
She made her literary debut with the novel Casino Casa Grande. Her writing explores themes such as friendship, care, desire, identity, and forms of resistance through feminist and queer perspectives, combining an intimate approach with a critical examination of human relationships.
In 2022, she was included by Distintas Latitudes magazine among the young and diverse Latin American poets to watch.
