Marina Picasso

Marina Picasso is the daughter of Paulo Picasso, the eldest son of the famous painter Pablo Picasso and the ballerina Olga Khokhlova. She is heir to a large part of Pablo Picasso’s legacy. She dedicates much of her time to the auction of her estate and makes donations to humanitarian causes. She currently spends part time living between France and Switzerland.



Marina has drawn the attention of the press due to the fame surrounding her for being the granddaughter of the famous painter. She has always been very critical of the effects that growing up around Picasso caused her, a great painter who had many shortcomings in his personal life.

The novel Picasso, My Grandfather has had an overwhelming success among the public. It was originally published in English and has been translated into Spanish, French, Italian, German, Czech, Polish and Swedish.
