Pablo Carbonell is a renown comedian, actor, and singer, as well as an unforgettable character in the classic television program La bola de cristal. He has worked with the famous El Gran Wyoming (a legendary Spanish television host) on television programs such as  La noche se mueve,  El peor programa de la semana   or even the popular Caiga quien caiga, in which he interviewed politicians and celebrities as a mischievous street reporter. He juggles his role as a TV host with his career as a film actor with over 30 films and television series – such as Hospital Central, Gym Tony and La que se avecina.

He is currently a co-host for the live entertainment program Sánchez y Carbonell, a late night show where he conducts interviews, debates, does improvisations, comedy and musical performances.

 

RELEVANT INFORMATION

He has worked as a screenwriter and film director for the movie Atún y Chocolate. For this movie, he obtained both a nomination for the prestigious Goya Awards in the Best New Actor category, and was the winner of the Best Actor Award at the Malaga Film Festival.

Pepita was his first published novel, and has since been one of the bestselling comedies of the year.

His eccentric and charismatic personality is reflected in each and every one of his books, making him one of the most beloved characters in Spanish culture.
