Patricia de Blas is a Spanish writer and journalist. She holds a degree in Journalism and Audiovisual Communication from the Universidad Carlos III of Madrid. She has reported from Nepal and Palestine for outlets such as El País and La Marea, and spent over ten years working in the news division of Onda Cero radio.

Her debut novel was a finalist for the 32nd Torrente Ballester Prize and won both the Emerging Talent Award “La Torre de Babel” and the 4th Young Aragonese Creators Award. Cara de madre is her second novel.
