Raquel Presumido is a Spanish writer and educator. She holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the University of Burgos and a Master’s Degree in Screenwriting from Carlos III University of Madrid. She further developed her literary training at renowned creative writing schools such as Fuentetaja and Billar de Letras.

She has worked with television and theatre production companies and currently teaches Spanish Language and Literature, while also coordinating reading clubs and creative writing workshops for adults.

Her literary work spans essays, poetry, and fiction. She made her fiction debut with Mice in the Pantry (2025), a collection of stories set in the rural borderlands between Asturias and León, blending oral tradition, mystery, surrealism, and humor. In 2026, she published Lutano, her first novel, further exploring the same rural and fantastical imaginary world that characterizes her work.
