Sergio Mira Jordán is a Spanish writer, Spanish Language and Literature teacher, and musician, with a degree in Hispanic Philology from the University of Alicante. Alongside his educational work, he has developed an extensive career as a novelist, poet, columnist, and composer, integrating literature, music, and critical reflection into his creative practice.
Since the late 1990s, he has published novels, poetry, short stories, and opinion pieces in various media outlets. His most recent work, La sombra del océano, received the First “Alexis Ravelo – City of Arucas” Crime Novel Award in 2024, consolidating his position as a significant voice in contemporary Spanish-language crime and detective fiction.
