Simona Baldelli

Scenic Rights is the audiovisual co-agency of Walkabout Literary Agency.

Simona Baldelli is an Italian author, screenwriter, dramaturge, and actress, graduated in dramatic arts at the European School of Theatre of Bolognia. She has also attended screenwriting, scenic and creative writing courses, in Italy and Cuba.

She has written television scripts, and theatre plays in Italy. She has been a host and director on Radio Mambo and Radio Italy, and she has also been very active on cultural events organization, like the Short Films Festival The Other Short Film, or the Neruda Centenary in Treviso, collaborating with Chile Embassy. As an actress, she has participated in several films and short films.

She has published ten works, including theatre and a radio fiction for the platform Emons, specialized on audiobooks.

She was a finalist for the Calvino Award, the Città di Gubbio Award and the Lugano Literary Award. She was the winner of John Fante Award. One of her books was chosen as the book of the month by the radio show Fahrenheit.
