Xavier Velasco

Scenic Rights is the audiovisual co-agency of Schavelzon-Graham Literary Agency.

Xavier Velasco has been a creative director, editor, advertising editor and journalist, whilst publishing novels. He is also a music lover and his literary works are full of punk and rock.

For 16 years he wrote in the supplement Sábado from the Mexican newspaper Unomásuno. He has published articles in the Mexican and Spanish newspapers Novedades, El Universal, El Nacional, La Crónica, Milenio, Reforma and El País. 

Currently he collaborates with the newspaper Milenio, publishing the column Pronóstico del clímax. His work has been adapted to television series by Amazon.

 

RELEVANT INFORMATION

He received the Alfaguara Novel Award, after which he became super bestseller in Latin America. His novel Diablo guardian has been adapted to a television series by a production company.

He has published over ten novels and writers such as Carlos Fuentes or Arturo Pérez-Reverte have praised his work, elevating him to be the future of Mexican narrative.
