Two friends from college, Pablo Azcárraga, a war correspondent, and Ryan Mullkin, political analyzer at The New York Times, start an innovative project together: a digital newspaper in New York.
Their aim is to create an online platform in which everybody can exchange information and new ideas. The word is there perceived as the main tool to contribute to a fairer society. As soon as they begin their project, they are successful.
Suddenly a mysterious message by an unknown reader gets them the information about a criminal case, in which some sort of conspiracy is involved. Furthermore, that case also affects the most important international corporations. This discovery makes Mullkin and Azcárraga get into a disturbing story, full of unsolved riddles.
