My name is Casablanca

The Colombians Salvador Caicedo and Ricardo Benemejí take control over Mazatlán, Mexico and Cartagena, Colombia in order to control drug trafficking all over the territory. To be the ones in charge, they clean the territory by killing drug lords and creating intern conflicts, like in the Sinaloa’s Cartel with Don Armando Ibarra Borbón and Genaro Barreto.

Luis Ayala Marsella, unbreakable and honest police agent gave a few years back a suitcase with a million dollars in it and captured Rosendo Caicedo, Salvador’s brother. Now he has to investigate the numerous murders and crimes committed in a land with no law, no justice and submerged in the violence created by the cartels, prepared to globalization; organized in diverse tasks and small groups unlike the last years big and dominant organizations.

Juan José Rodríguez shows us in his book that there is not just a unique power. Power can only be made by work division in society, creating a new order produced by the drug cartels presence in northern Mexico.
