Forgotten | Beloved
For Ibiza, Vito is everything: her best friend and her secret partner. When an accident erases his memory and he forgets their life together, Ibiza is trapped between the love that has forgotten her and Manuel, Vito’s older brother, with whom she begins an unexpected relationship. Ibiza faces a love triangle that changes her life forever.
Ibiza and Vito have known each other since childhood and shared a friendship that, over the years, had turned into something more: in recent months, they had begun a secret, intense, and fragile relationship.
Everything shatters when Vito suffers a car accident and wakes from a coma with no memory of the last fifteen years of his life. He has forgotten Ibiza as his partner and as his love. To him, she is only the best friend everyone talks about. For Ibiza, it means facing a double loss: losing the love of her life and watching him move on without her, while her place begins to be taken by others.
In Forgotten, Ibiza tries to stay close to Vito. Unable to tell him the truth, she creates a jar filled with written memories that reconstruct their shared history: childhood, complicity, the refuge Vito represented in the face of absent, alcoholic parents…
Vito reads these memories with detachment, uncomfortable with the pressure of becoming someone he no longer is. He prefers to move forward, study, and fall in love with Anabella, a classmate who does not carry his past. Ibiza, trapped in a silent mourning, struggles to hold together her studies, her group of friends, and an emotional stability that begins to crack.
Amid that emptiness appears Manuel, Vito’s older brother. He had always been a distant figure to Ibiza, but now they begin to cross paths, to talk, to look at each other differently. Manuel shows himself to be attentive and deeply affected by his brother’s situation and by Ibiza’s emotional deterioration. Between them arises an unexpected closeness, charged with intimacy and desire, placing Ibiza in an impossible position: to keep clinging to what she lost or to let herself be carried by what is being born.
In the second part, Beloved, nothing returns to its place. Ibiza is trapped between two bonds that cannot coexist. With Vito, she maintains a deep emotional connection that is no longer romantic; with Manuel, she has forged an intense and secret relationship built on physical encounters, late-night conversations, and constant guilt for loving the wrong man. Coexistence becomes suffocating: family dinners, parties, and gatherings where the three coincide, while Anabella officially becomes Vito’s partner.
The lies begin to unravel. Messages sent by mistake, memories that return in fragments, and silences that weigh too heavily push the story toward a public explosion. At a party, the secret relationship between Ibiza and Vito before the accident is revealed, along with the night she spent with Manuel afterward. Ibiza faints and ends up in the hospital, forced to face the consequences of everything she kept silent.
Ibiza and Vito allow themselves to close their story from a different place. They acknowledge what they were and accept that they can no longer go back. Their bond is redefined as a solid friendship, built on truth and mutual care. Manuel, on the other hand, remains an open wound. Although they try to say goodbye, they cannot break away completely. On his birthday, Ibiza admits that she cannot give him one last kiss nor promise an ending. Manuel replies that perhaps it is simply not the right moment yet.
The story ends with Ibiza more whole, supported by her friendships and looking ahead, without romantic certainties, but for the first time in control of her decisions and with an entire life ahead of her.
