At the center is Nayara, the victim of the assault, and her brother Ferran, bound together in the face of an overwhelming environment. Around them orbit Enzo, Nayara’s boyfriend, a manipulative and violent young man; Thiago, his younger brother, unable to escape his influence; Héctor, marked by exclusion and anger; Mauro, impulsive and cruel; and Abdelkader, a thirteen-year-old who only wants to belong. Each of them plays a role in a night that will change their lives forever.

In Monday, Nayara wakes up shattered, her body covered in marks and with only one certainty: something terrible happened on Friday, but she cannot speak about it. At school, she vomits in the hallway, locks herself in the bathroom, and can barely utter a word.

Her younger brother Ferran is the only one who senses that something is wrong. That morning, he sees a group of classmates whispering over a phone and hears the word “slut” drifting through the air. When he realizes they are talking about Nayara, he attacks Mauro so violently that he is expelled from school.

At home, he tries to cheer her up with a documentary, but a date—1916—triggers her distress. Nayara retreats into the bathroom in silence. Then Mauro sends Ferran the video. For the first time, he sees it: his sister being assaulted by five boys, including Enzo, her boyfriend. Without hesitation, Ferran goes to hockey practice, finds Enzo, and beats him repeatedly with a stick until he kills him.

The police arrest him and, at the house, rescue Nayara from the bathroom. She remembers only the time on Enzo’s watch during the attack and manages to say “19:16.” At the police station, she is reunited with Ferran. She finally feels a sense of relief, while he accepts the price he will pay forever.

In Sunday, Abdel, a thirteen-year-old Moroccan boy, should be focused on his first Ramadan fast, but his mind is consumed by the video Thiago recorded on Friday. Abdel helped hold Nayara down—the girl he was in love with—while the others assaulted her.

Meanwhile, Héctor, a seventeen-year-old Argentine boy, opens the laundromat where he works and vomits from a hangover. Friday had been his birthday; he drank heavily, took drugs, and lost control to the point of remembering nothing. When Abdel asks him for Thiago’s number to get the video, Héctor senses the horror. When he finally sees it, he will not recognize himself in those images.

Enzo, the leader, orchestrated the assault, the party, and the filming with the precision of a predator—but hours later, he will be dead. Thiago, the cameraman, simply obeys his older brother and forwards the video as if completing a task.
Twelve days later, in a juvenile protection center, Abdel is declared not criminally responsible due to his age, but a psychologist confronts him with the truth: Enzo is dead, and his sister Amina has left him a message that shatters him: “I don’t want to be the sister of a rapist.”

The final two books, Saturday and Friday, are scheduled for publication throughout 2026.
