Save the dolphins (Salvad a los delfines)

A divorced couple meets after seven years split at their daughter’s wedding. She has built a new life with another man. The play develops the misunderstandings and anecdotic situations of this triangle to which is added the daughter and her fiancée, a Thai man who aspires to go the Faeroe Islands and save dolphins.

 

RELEVANT FACTS: The play is placed within the high-class comedies with the counterpoint that the older people move around sexuality while younger people are more interested in the environment.

Moncada won the Premio Nacional Calderón de la Barca in 1956 and 1963 (shared). He was also awarded the Planeta Award.
