J., a Spanish detective, and a drunk and a complete loser, combination of Pepe Carballo and Torrente, investigates the death in strange circumstances of a woman on the other side of the Atlantic. He discovers that she was Laura Buendía, a scriptwriter who was preparing a documentary about the Spanish occupation of Texas. ¿Whom could she have been a target of, and why? The clues will take J. to the investigation of bilocation, a quality which allows to be in two places at the same time, and known for having manifested in sister María of Ágreda when she evangelized Castille and Texas in the XVIIth century. Bilocation can be a powerful weapon, and it will provoke a conspiracy that would change the fate of two connected worlds.

RELEVANT FACTS:
The mysteries in Spanish Texas make a story about borders: halfway through the detective genre and the historical, the sassy and the skeptical, and, in short, the American and the Spanish. The plot speaks of societies in transit, more powerful for what they share and unite than for what separates them.
