The Secret Life of Rebecca Paradise (La vida secreta de Rebecca Paradise)

                                                                                                                                                      Living a double life.

Úrsula is a 12-year-old girl with glasses, optimism and an imagination that runs wild. Her mother passed away and because of her family´s situation, she has had to switch from school to school. This has made it difficult for her to make friends since it can be quite complicated being the new girl in class. Her strategy has been to create an imaginary world where she can take refuge, so real in fact that she often mistakes it for reality. This will cause her to get in trouble and making friends is harder than ever before.

Úrsula arrives at her new school where she meets Sofía, the most popular girl in class, and Alex, her only friend. Her life as she knows it changes when she creates a blog signed with the pseudonym Rebecca Paradise, and it becomes a great success. Rebecca Paradise is a spy that travels the world and fights crime. This becomes her secret identity, a secret to everyone except her best friend Alex.

Thanks to this new identity, Úrsula creates funny stories that help her focus her creativity. With the help of her new friends and the psychologist, she will learn to separate reality from imagination and understand that she needs to be able to fully enjoy both. She will also overcome her mother’s death and finally feel like she belongs.
