The Wild Book (El libro salvaje) (Film)

The hunt for a wild slippery book that keeps a secret only for the eyes of the one who finds it.

Juan is a 13-year-old boy who lives with his younger sister, and his parents. After their divorce, the mother sends Juan to spend two weeks at his uncle’s Tito mansion, to help him clear his mind and deal with the changes.

Uncle Tito is a special man, who lives with his three cats and Eufrosia, the housekeeper, in a big house full of books. When Juan arrives at the mansion, he discovers he is a princeps reader: a specific type of reader who is adored by the books, and by whom the books are looking forward to being read.

However, there is a book that doesn´t allow anyone to read it: The Wild Book. So, Uncle Tito gives Juan the mission to find it and see if his skill as princeps reader allows him to read it, so he can discover the secrets the book hides.

In this adventure, Juan meets his first love: Catalina, a girl with whom he will join forces to lay all kinds of traps to capture The Wild Book, so they can catch it. None of them will succeed.

Eventually, Juan, thanks to the help of his sister, will catch the book and will discover that its pages are completely blank. Little by little, he will see in the pages how the beginning of this same story will start to appear, telling the adventures of little Juan and his uncle Tito, up to future events like the marriage between Juan and Catalina, or the frequent visits from Juan to uncle Tito.
