The words on the sand (Las palabras en la arena)

The work is based on a passage from the New Testament in which Jesus surprises a woman in a situation of adultery. Asaph and his friends, his wife, Naomi, and Phenicia, the maid of the woman, are witnesses to the episode of the adulterous woman. After the departure of Jesus of Nazareth, people read the message he left written to everyone in the sand. The words written by Jesus are the characteristics of the people who read them. The climax of the story coincides with the murder of Naomi by Asaph for attempting to maintain an adulterous relationship with another man. The work ends with the revelation of what Jesus had written in the arena for Asaph: murderer.
