It narrates the madness of a group of people who decide to abandon themselves to live in a world of dreams, where common sense ceases to exist. Here is when the main character of the work appears, identified as \"Mermaid\". The love story between this character and the founder of the commune in which they lived, and the impossibility of love in an unreal world leads them to face reality, however hard it may be.\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<strong>RELEVANT FACTS<\/strong>: This nine characters\u2019 work was one of the first of Casona; it premiered during the 30s in Madrid, obtaining the Premio Lope de Vega due to its success.\r\n\r\nCasona was one of the most important Spanish writers of the 20th century. He lived between Spain and Latin America, where his work had a great success in cinema and theatre, especially in Argentina, where several movies about his work were produced.
