He has no other choice but to do any kind of job just to survive along with his daughter Leonor. One day, thanks to his friend Mariano, he gets a job as a security guard in a casino frequented by criminals. Antonio ends up scaring away the thieves and, as a reward for his work, he receives a small capital that will have to be defended in the end by the main character\u2019s daughter.\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<strong>RELEVANT FACTS: <\/strong>It has been adapted several times to cinema: in 1934 by the Spanish director Benito Perojo; and in 1966 by Rafael Gil, also Spanish. In 1969, it was made for the TVE program \u201cLa risa Espa\u00f1ola\u201d; and in 1977 to \u201cEstudio 1\u201d.\r\n\r\nArniches was part of the brilliant Generation of '98, and comedies were his specialty.
