All this, seasoned with the deafness and the mistrust of Mrs. Palmer, the evil plans of Doctor Moriarty and the sweeping charm of the lady - and lyrical singer - Irene Adler. He is the grandson of the playwright Alfonso Paso and great grandson of the writer Enrique Jardiel Poncela.
