His childhood friend, Beto, belongs to a criminal gang, and Miguel Angel is tempted to succumb to the wiles of easy money.\r\n\r\nOn the other hand, the protagonist starts dating Britney, a 16-year-old rich girl, whose father will kill them both if he finds out, because Miguel is not worthy of her.\r\n\r\nFurthermore, Britney gets pregnant, an added burden to Miguel\u2019s difficult current situation. Despite everything, the protagonist has to learn to deal with every single obstacle of his life.\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<strong>RELEVANT INFORMATION<\/strong>: <em>A Fighting Chance<\/em> is a work that treats different subjects like the social inequality of the Latino community in the US, or how teenagers get in contact with drugs at an early age.\r\n\r\nThe author, Claudia Mel\u00e9ndez, is a Mexican journalist who has dedicated a big part of her life to the investigation of themes related to the social exclusion of the Latin American community in the
