Marcelo is murdered shortly afterward. At his funeral, \u00c9ric reconnects with his mother, Maite, who is gravely ill. She reveals that Horacio Medina abused her and that she never knew the identity of \u00c9ric\u2019s father. Soon after, Maite dies.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span lang=\"EN-GB\">The death of Nicol\u00e1s Medina sparks a brutal war among the Medina siblings for control of the organization. Amid the chaos, Isidora Medina seizes the opportunity to become the new leader by eliminating her rivals. She then turns her sights on Sergeant Roig.
