Together with her foreign lover, they cruelly murdered Corina\u00b4s husband and she was later sentenced to the death penalty.\r\n\r\nIn the second story, we follow the life of Rosa Fa\u00fandez in the 1920\u00b4s. Rosa used to sell newspapers and was the culprit in her husband\u2019s murder. She cut him into many pieces and threw him into the river, covered in newspaper. Rosa ended up confessing to the murder, but the crime was so absurd that nobody believed her because \u201ca woman wasn\u00b4t capable of something like that\u201d.\r\n\r\nCarolina Geel is the main character of the third case. Geel was a well-known writer who, in the 50\u00b4s, shot the man who had proposed to her five times. During her time in prison, the author wrote a book that not only would make her famous, but that was also used as evidence against her in her own case.\r\n\r\nLast but not least, <em>The Murderers (Las homicidas)<\/em> lets Teresa Alfaro\u00b4s story come to light. Teresa was a maid and nanny who poisoned the three kids she was taking care of as revenge on her employers.\r\n\r\n<em>The Murderers (Las homicidas)<\/em> analyzes how these four women committed crimes that not only surpassed the laws of criminality, but also the laws of gender norms. A perturbing and unsettling story that moves along the lines of a crime story and social criticism.\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<strong>RELEVANT DATA<\/strong>: <em>The Murderers (Las homicidas) <\/em>was a finalist for the <strong>Man Booker Prize<\/strong>, and was considered one of most important literary debuts of the year.
