There was nothing novelistic about me, definitely nothing special enough to deserve to be written about....\u201d\r\n\r\nVelia is a teenager who feels overwhelmed by having to make decisions that inevitably push her into adulthood. But Velia is not alone because her friends are going through similar experiences.\r\n\r\nTheir literature teacher's proposal to stage a theatrical adaptation of <em>Cyrano de Bergerac<\/em> will mark a turning point in the lives of Velia and the rest of the group. Cyrano pretended to be brave, but was actually heartbroken and extremely self-conscious. He was very concerned about what others thought of him. The guys, just like Cyrano, all have some degree of self-image related issues. And so, through this character, they will explore the depths of adolescent psychology.\r\n\r\nDuring the rehearsal and staging process of the play, the nine teenagers will face challenging obstacles, all of which will have to be overcome as a team. Together, they will live adventures, have many laughs, overcome their deepest fears, discover their extraordinary talents, experience betrayals, complicated relationships, first kisses, and they will learn a tremendous amount about life.\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<strong>RELEVANT DATA<\/strong>: Winner of the <strong>Edeb\u00e9 Young Adult Literature Award 2021<\/strong>, the most prestigious award for Spanish language literature in this category. Pablo Guti\u00e9rrez has been internationally acclaimed and has been selected by the British magazine <em>Granta<\/em> as one of the best young storytellers in Spanish.
