The original format of this story was a serialized weblog, which was intended to make her friend smile while she was undergoing treatment. It is reminiscent in tone of the Spanish superhero comedy <em>El vecin<\/em>o, adding a female lead character with a deep conflict and transformation.\r\n\r\nRosa Ribas is an international bestselling author and has received the <strong>Hammett Award<\/strong> at the Semana Negra de Gij\u00f3n and the <strong>Brigada 21 Award<\/strong> for Best First Crime Novel.
