In the previous saga, the protagonist Erik is a geeky, compulsive, ultra-organized, and fashion-loving fifteen-year-old who gets caught up in a series of unsolved mysteries. Despite not being brave, Erik seems to have a knack for attracting the most frightening events. His adventure partner is his grandmother, Berta Vogler, a versatile and lively woman ahead of her time.\r\n\r\nThe trio of protagonists is completed by Albert Zimmer, the grandson of Berta\u2019s neighbor, who is the same age as Erik and doesn\u2019t understand his strange personality. Erik feels some repulsion toward Albert because of his pale skin and sharp fangs. Albert, for his part, is in denial and avoids thinking about his parents being vampires. Additionally, they are both vying for the affection of Clo\u00e9, a French girl who is also interested in the cases. Despite being rivals, Erik and Albert will need each other to solve the mysteries that lie ahead.\r\n\r\nIn <em>The Witch of Berchtesgaden<\/em>, a few years have passed since the events of<em> The Revenge<\/em>, the last book in the <em>Erik Vogler Saga<\/em>. The characters have grown older and started university. Erik now studies Interior Design and Art History in New York, while Albert Zimmer studies Criminology in Amsterdam. Although the trio did not part on good terms at the end of the previous saga, a call from Commissioner Roth reunites Albert and Erik to solve a crime in the town of Berchtesgaden.\r\n\r\nThe mystery involves the existence of a witch who appears in the homes of her victims to kill them at night. Berta Vogler, now a renowned novelist, joins them to try to solve the case.\r\n\r\nIn <em>The Killer of the Senses<\/em>, a glass chest appears in R\u00f6merberg Square at the foot of a sculpture representing justice. Inside it lies a terrible discovery: two eyeballs from a human victim. Moreover, the crime is dedicated to Berta Vogler. The team will have to solve a new enigma, more complicated than the previous one.\r\n\r\nIn <em>The Death of Ophelia<\/em>, Commissioner Schneider from Munich requests the collaboration of Albert Zimmer and Erik Vogler in the case of a serial killer. The bodies are found recreating famous paintings from art history, such as the first case, where the body of an enigmatic and lonely artist is found recreating the painting \"The Death of Ophelia\" in the bathtub of her apartment.\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<strong>RELEVANT INFORMATION:<\/strong>\r\n\r\nIn this series, we dive into the story from Albert's point of view. This saga introduces a new narrative voice and a time jump, but the characters from the previous saga remain. The trilogy includes the titles <em>Albert Zimmer I: The Witch of Berchtesgaden, Albert Zimmer II: The Killer of the Senses<\/em>, and <em>Albert Zimmer III: The Death of Ophelia<\/em>.\r\n\r\nBeatriz Os\u00e9s is an internationally bestselling author.
