He won the prestigious Herralde Prize for his novel <em>Life before<\/em> March in 2009, and he\u2019s member of the Royal Spanish Academy since 2015, occupying Jose Luis Sampedro\u2019s chair, the letter F.\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<strong>INTERESTING FACTS<\/strong>\r\n\r\nAfter a whole life devoted to cinema, he\u2019s focused his creativity on literature.
