In 2013 she published her first novel, <i>Killing the Girl<\/i>, and in 2016 the short story collection <i>Before the Fierce Encounter<\/i> (recently reissued under the title <i>Nineteen Claws and a Dark Bird<\/i>).<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span lang=\"EN-US\">In 2017 she published <i>Tender Is the Flesh<\/i>, which has had multiple editions in the United States and has been translated into more than 20 languages. <i>The Unworthy<\/i> is her latest novel, and both works are currently in the process of being adapted for audiovisual formats.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span lang=\"EN-US\">She has received more than thirty awards for her outstanding literary career since 1998.
