As an expert of pop music, he was one of the founders of radio station Cadena Ser's program<em> El Gran Musical<\/em> and later became a music commentator, traveling around the world with groups and artists to write reports on his performances. It is also important to highlight his work as a creator of the legendary youth magazine <em>Super Pop<\/em>, one of the leading mainstream publications in the history of Spanish journalism. This has also served as the benchmark for millions of readers of all generations. Some of his books have even been adapted to both theater and film.\u00a0 Among his works, you will also find international rock artists biographies such as John Lennon, Michael Jackson, Bob Dylan, The Beatles and The Rolling Stones.\r\n\r\nHe has created a foundation named after himself, one whose main objective is to support and promote young writers at the beginning of their literary careers. Some to highlight are as follows: the <strong>National Children and Youth Literature Award<\/strong>, the <strong>Gran Angular Award<\/strong> (on three ocasions), the <strong>Barco de Vapor de Literatura Juvenil Award<\/strong>, the <strong>Edeb\u00e9 Youth Literature Award<\/strong> (also on three occasions), the <strong>Ateneo de Sevilla Award<\/strong>, the <strong>Cervantes Chico Award<\/strong> for all his works and cultural commitment to the Jordi Sierra I Fabra Foundation in Spain and Colombia, the <strong>Gold Medal at the Merit of Fine Arts Ceremony<\/strong> (given to him by the Ministry of Culture) and the <strong>LIJ Iberoamerican Award<\/strong> for his works. He has also been selected four times for the <strong>White Ravens Award<\/strong> at the Internationale Jugendbibliothek of Munich, has been thrice the Spanish candidate for the <strong>Andersen Children and Youth Literature Award<\/strong> and for the <strong>Astrid Lindgren Award<\/strong>. Additionally, he has been a <strong>finalist<\/strong> for the <strong>Planeta Award<\/strong>, among many others.\r\n\r\nHis books have been translated to many languages including: Korean, German, English, Portuguese, French, Russian, Japanese, Turkish and Greek, among other languages.
