He studied literatura at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, the Sogem Writer\u2019s School and the International Men\u00e9ndez Pelayo of Santander University in Spain. He was responsible for special editions at the Fondo de Cultura Econ\u00f3mica de M\u00e9xico and was a lead consultant for the direction and edition of the International Book Fair of Guadalajara in Mexico. He currently coordinates La Jaula Abierta Publishing House, founded by Vicente Le\u00f1ero, Roger Bartra and himself, apart from working on the collection of the 6 volumes of <em>The Red Book (El libro rojo).<\/em>\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<strong>RELEVANT INFORMATION <\/strong>\r\n\r\nGerardo Villadel\u00e1ngel was awarded the <strong>Editorial Art of the National Chamber of the Mexican Publishing Industry Award<\/strong> and the <strong>\u201cM\u00e9xico en sur\u201d Award. <\/strong>\r\n\r\nHe is the author of <em>The Red Book: Continuation (El libro rojo: Continuaci\u00f3n)<\/em>, the sequel to the well-known homonymous part 1.
